Evolution

This was an exercise for school.
The topic I prepared was the artwork "Chromosome" www.artnet.com/Images/magazine… by Tony Cragg. We should
draw/paint something similar or inspired by his artwork.

It was the first time that I tried something abstract and colorful. This painting
takes about 5 hours. The floral and organic ornaments
were drawn with different ink and a pen.

I just don’t want to explain the “evolutionary” background behind this drawing.
The lame “reflections”, we have to write in school for every drawing are such a pain in my neck.
(I hate to explain every element and use of colour in my drawings…
most of the things I draw intuitional, so there is often (not always) NOTHING TO EXPLAIN!
